- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Common hazards in construction environments, techniques for identifying and assessing risks in construction environments
- Fall Protection: Understanding of fall hazards and fall protection equipment, proper use and maintenance of fall protection equipment, preventing falls from ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated surfaces
- Heavy Equipment Safety: Safe operation of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, and excavators, maintenance and inspection of heavy equipment, preventing accidents and injuries related to heavy equipment
- Electrical Safety in Construction Environments: Electrical hazards in construction environments, safe use and maintenance of electrical equipment, prevention of electrical shocks and fires
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Identification of PPE requirements in construction environments, proper use and maintenance of PPE
- Safety Procedures and Compliance: Compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies, safety audits and inspections, record-keeping and reporting requirements
