Learning Outcomes
- Build and implement thorough Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) based on ISO 45001, ANSI Z10, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 & 1926.
- Work through hazard identification, assessment, and control, and risk assessment with an emphasis on preventive action planning.
- Create, manage, and assess successful safety training programs grounded in adult learning principles and the train-the-trainer methodology.
- Guarantee adherence to international safety standards and execute ongoing audits and inspections.
- Oversee planned, emergency preparedness drills and response sets to ensure workforce readiness and to mitigate the impact of an incident, as allows.
- Communicate with and lead key personnel to establish an organizational safety culture that is proactive.
- Monitor compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and safety standards concerning confined spaces, scaffolds, cranes, forklifts, and electrical systems.
- Sift through and apply OSHA standards amid critical industrial safety issues of fall protection, welding, excavation, and visibility of silica dust.
- Utilize health and safety outcome metrics to monitor, and standards to improve and drive positive change across all verticals.
- Exhibit managerial proficiency in the areas of safety program oversight, system documentation, and efforts directed toward continuous improvement.
Mode of Delivery
Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.
Course Content
The Certified Health and Safety Manager (CHSM) training combines technical expertise with compliance, leadership, and management skills. It equips one with vital competencies on advanced level occupational health and safety management which enables the professionals to multidisciplinary frameworks on workplace safety and management. Compliant with global standards including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 & 1926, ANSI Z10, and ISO 45001. The Main Areas of Focus are:

Entry Requirements
Program Duration
This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.
Examination
All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
