    • Improved hazard identification skills: Upon completion of the program, you will have improved your ability to identify hazardous materials and the associated hazards, including the ability to recognize hazardous materials labels and placards, understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and conduct hazard assessments.

    Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.

    • Hazardous Materials Fundamentals: Understanding the types of hazardous materials and their specific hazards,identifying and assessing hazardous materials hazards in the workplace
    • Hazardous Materials Labeling and Marking: Understanding the types of hazardous materials labels and markings,proper placement and maintenance of hazardous materials labels and markings,identifying and addressing common hazardous materials labeling and marking problems
    • Hazardous Materials Safety Data Sheets (SDS): Understanding the importance and use of SDS,proper use and maintenance of SDS, identifying and addressing common SDS problems
    • Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness and Response:Identifying and planning for potential emergency situations with hazardous materials, developing and implementing emergency response plans, training workers on emergency procedures
    • Hazardous Materials Regulations and Standards:Understanding OSHA and other regulatory requirements for hazardous materials, identifying and addressing non-compliance issues, keeping current with changes in regulations and standards
    • Hazardous Materials Transportation: Understanding the regulations and requirements for transporting hazardous materials, identifying and addressing hazards associated with transporting hazardous materials

    This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.

    All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
