The Registered Safety Manager (RSM) course is a comprehensive training program designed for individuals who are interested in advancing their careers in the field of workplace safety. Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.

  • Leadership and Safety Culture: Building a positive safety culture, effective leadership in safety management, safety communication and engagement.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Root cause analysis, incident reporting and documentation, implementation of corrective actions.
  • Hazardous Materials and Waste Management: Identification and assessment of hazardous materials, safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Industrial Hygiene: Exposure assessment and control of chemical, physical, and biological hazards, indoor air quality and ventilation.
  • Construction Safety: Site safety planning and management, scaffolding, excavation, and trenching safety, fall protection.
  • Transportation Safety: Compliance with dot regulations, vehicle and equipment maintenance, driver safety training.
  • Occupational Health and Wellness: Occupational health hazards and controls, ergonomics and workplace design, employee wellness programs.

This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.

All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
