The Construction Safety Management course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of construction safety principles and best practices. This course is essential for those who are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment on construction sites, and ensuring the safety of workers.

Objectives:

To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of construction safety principles
To teach participants how to identify and assess construction site hazards

Understanding of industrial hygiene principles: The program covers the principles and practices of industrial hygiene, including the importance of protecting workers from hazardous substances and conditions in the workplace.
Knowledge of industrial hygiene regulations and standards: The program covers the latest OSHA regulations and industry best practices in industrial hygiene, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Ability to identify and assess industrial hygiene hazards: Upon completion of the program, you will have the skills to identify potential industrial hygiene hazards in the workplace and assess their level of risk.
Understanding of industrial hygiene control measures and procedures: The program covers various control measures and procedures for reducing or eliminating industrial hygiene hazards, including how to develop and implement effective industrial hygiene programs.
Knowledge of industrial hygiene monitoring and assessment: The program covers the importance of monitoring and assessing industrial hygiene hazards, including how to conduct industrial hygiene surveys and monitoring programs.

Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.

Training should emphasize on the following contents;

Introduction to Construction Safety Management: Overview of construction safety management, importance of construction safety management, legal requirements for construction safety management
Risk Assessment and Management: Identifying hazards and risks in construction sites, implementing control measures to mitigate hazards and risks, conducting regular safety inspections and audits
Safety Planning and Implementation: Developing a construction safety plan, implementing safety procedures and protocols, managing emergency situations
Safety Training and Education: Providing safety training for employees and contractors, promoting safety culture and awareness, encouraging active participation in safety management
Safety Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Measuring and monitoring safety performance, identifying areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement
Occupational Health and Safety Standards: Understanding OSHA regulations and standards, compliance with OSHA regulations and standards, developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
Safety Communication and Documentation: Developing effective communication strategies for safety management, maintaining accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation, reporting and investigating incidents and accidents
Special Topics in Construction Safety Management: Managing safety in specific construction environments (e.g. high-rise buildings, underground construction), managing safety for specific construction activities (e.g. demolition, scaffolding), managing safety for specific construction equipment and machinery.

This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.

All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
