Course Overview
Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training course is designed to provide individuals with a comprehensive overview of the principles and practices of occupational health and safety. The course covers the following topics:

Mode of Delivery
Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.
Course Content
Training should emphasize on the following contents;
- Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH): Overview of OSH laws and regulations, the importance of a safe and healthy work environment, and understanding the role of OSH professionals.
- Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification: Identifying hazards in the workplace, assessing risk and evaluating the need for control measures, and implementing effective controls to mitigate hazards.
- OSH Program Management: Developing and implementing an OSH program, establishing policies and procedures, and communicating and training employees on OSH policies and procedures.
- OSH Inspection and Audit: Conduct regular OSH inspections and audits, identifying hazards and non-compliance issues, implementing corrective actions, and tracking progress.
- Safety in the Workplace: Understanding common workplace hazards, implementing safety measures to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries, and promoting a safety culture in the workplace.
- Health in the Workplace: Understanding common health hazards in the workplace, implementing measures to promote employee health and well-being, and addressing specific health concerns such as ergonomics, indoor air quality, and stress.
Entry Requirements
Program Duration
This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.
Examination
All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
