The OSHA Worker Rights and Protection course is designed to provide employees with a comprehensive understanding of their rights and protections under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). This course covers the specific provisions of the act, including the right to a safe work environment, whistleblower protections, and the role of OSHA in enforcing safety and health regulations.

Mode of Delivery

Training sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Team Meetings in an online format, or through LMS or face-to-face delivery. Invitations for the meeting will be distributed one day before the commencement of the training program. Training is either delivered by an accredited training provider or an affiliate training center.

  • Introduction To OSHA Worker Rights And Protection: overview of OSHA worker rights and protection in construction and industry, importance of understanding and complying with OSHA regulations and standards, understanding the role of OSHA in protecting worker safety and health.
  • OSHA standards and regulations: identifying the most relevant OSHA standards and regulations related to worker safety and health, understanding the requirements and responsibilities set by OSHA for employers and employees, assessing the risk of OSHA violations and penalties.
  • Reporting And Record-Keeping: understanding the procedures for reporting workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities, understanding the procedures for maintaining and submitting accurate records of workplace injuries and illnesses, understanding the procedures for posting OSHA notices, and inspecting the workplace.
  • Training And Education: providing training for employees and contractors on OSHA standards and regulations, promoting OSHA culture and awareness, encouraging active participation in OSHA compliance.
  • OSHA Programs: developing an OSHA compliance program, implementing an OSHA compliance program, monitoring and evaluating an OSHA compliance program.
  • Special Topics In Osha Worker Rights And Protection: understanding specific OSHA standards for particular industries (e.g. construction, manufacturing), understanding specific OSHA standards for specific hazards (e.g. fall protection, hazardous materials), understanding OSHA whistleblower protection.

Program Duration

This course is designed to help you reach your goals at your own pace and on your schedule. Instructional contact time must be a minimum of 8 hours. Most students intend to complete their studies via online learning within 1 month.

Examination

All students must achieve a minimum 70% score to successfully pass the examination which shall be taken online through AISP assigned portal. After successful completion of the examination, students will get their results immediately on their registered emails. This is an open-book exam and students are permitted to use a separate browser window to review course content while taking the exam. If you do not pass the examination you may retake the examination. Students are allowed to take an exam three times within one month. During this time, students should review the course material to improve their understanding.
